I have a function: function function1($cmd) { Write-Host $cmd } I have this function that I run to run it a number of times, based on what's in a [string[]] $filelist array. This works just fine in a regular commandline, just not with a script. $cmd = "powershell function1 $filelist" $cmd | Out-File "C: est.txt" I want to do this in a script, and have tried: $cmd = "powershell function1 `$filelist" $cmd | Out-File "C: est.txt" and I get: Unable to find an entry point named 'function1' I have also tried: $cmd = "powershell function1 `"$filelist"`" $cmd | Out-File "C: est.txt" I get: You cannot call a method on a null-valued expression. My end goal is to pass the array of filenames to the function, and pass the return value back to the script as an array. Thanks in advance! A: You can't pass arrays directly to functions, you have to create an array first: $filelist = @('file1', 'file2', 'file3') function function1($cmd) { Write-Host $cmd } $cmd = "powershell function1 `"$filelist"`" $cmd | Out-File "C: est.txt" This proposal aims to identify and characterize the ontogeny of embryonic pigmented cells in the human integument. Our previous work has shown that these cells (melanocytes) are absent in the first and second trimesters, but exist in the third trimester, where they express markers of all stages of melanogenesis. We hypothesize that melanoblasts that initiate pigmentary differentiation in be359ba680
